For those of you not familiar with Channel 4 documentaries in the UK, it is something of an institution in the UK, setting the standard for documentary filmmaking, often featuring exciting locations around the world.
Honda UK will launch the next phase of the Channel 4 Documentaries with a series of 2011 mini-documentaries, Channel 4 sponsorship indents, and an online hub. Created by Wieden + Kennedy (W+K) London, the new series of mini-films starts on 2nd June during the airing of Channel 4’s Cutting Edge documentary Bums, Boobs and Botox.
Documentaries on 4, sponsored by Honda, the infamous strapline will remain the same for this new addition of the campaign, which features films that are brand-led and star real-life Honda customers who utilize their products in unique and different ways. Alpaca breeder Philippa from Oxfordshire uses her trusty Honda ATV to tend to her animals and farm.
Each separate phase features a different Honda owner in a mini-doc plus extra supporting content and a range of indents. Each one of the indents will bring a unique URL that relates to the story and will lead the viewer right to the content online.
Both Twitter and Facebook activity will be a part of all the phases of the new campaign,gn linking them to the online hub (www.honda.co.uk/stories) where the documentaries will be available in full. Additionally, there will be other articles, films, and interesting stories to see and read. A Take Part section will be available for Honda owners to upload their own stories and photos about the unique uses they have for their own Honda products, with the favourite chosen as the last of the series of mini-docs in the campaign.

Since there are plenty of people out there using all different types of Honda products in many unique and different ways. Martin Mo,l the Head of Marketing for Honda UK, expressed his excitement about the continued sponsorship of the Channel 4 documentaries because it allows Honda to focus on their most important asset, their customers.
Channel 4 documentaries have really set the standard in the UK, and it is great to see that it will receive the commercial support it deserves to continue production.
